GATHERING

There is a slow building of momentum that seems to happens when women get together. Initially the breathing of aloneness, hearing breath in the quiet; the slow gathering; the whispering, murmuring, talking, gaining of confidence, laughing; the exchange of stories and laughter; the unique togetherness in which women have found joy for thousands of years.
